The transfer fee is the number that moves the most under a few hundred dollars. Call the FFL before you check out. A gun that is a little over your cap at a shop with a cheaper transfer can beat a gun under the cap once the paperwork is in the total. Magazines matter at this price too. A one-magazine SKU plus a spare magazine is a different deal from a three-magazine SKU.

What should I read in the title?
Caliber, barrel length, and whether the optic or extra magazines are included. Two SKUs of the same model can differ by more than the discount.
